Robert O. Rider

BiographyRobert O. Rider was born in Stoneham, Massachusetts on September 26, 1891. He moved to Glastonbury, Connecticut in 1910 and served as that town's treasurer for more than thirty-five years. He also worked as a purchasing agent for the J. B. Williams Company. He took a very active role in the Glastonbury Tercentenary Committee in 1935, serving as secretary of the general committee and chairman of the publicity committee. He died in Glastonbury in 1956.
