BiographyEugene N. Cameron was born in Atlanta, Georgia in August 1910. He received his B.A. from New York University and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Columbia University. Following graduation, he taught geology at Columbia for several years before going on to a distinguished career as a minerologist and geologist.
