BiographyEunice Dennie Burr was the daughter of Gershom Burr of Fairfield, Connecticut. Her father was a cousin of Aaron Burr. She lived in Fairfield until she married Barnabas Hedge of Plymouth, Massachusetts, in 1789. She was married at the home of her uncle, Thaddeus Burr, in Fairfield, Connecticut, because he father had died before her marriage.
