BiographyWilliam F. Hill II (1918-2003) was born in Norwich, Connecticut. He graduated from the Norwich Free Academy in 1937. In 1942, he enlisted in the Naval Reserve serving in both the South Pacific and European theaters during WWII. He was a director of Veterans Employment Services at the U.S. Departmnt of Labor from 1958-1980. He served as Connecticut state chairman of the Young Republicans in 1956 and was a delegate to the Republican National Convention that same year. He was elected chairman of the Regional 7 school board and was a member of the Norfolk Curling Club.
