Amy Nichols Scovill

BiographyAmy Nichols was born on 12 August 1742 in Waterbury, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Capt. George Nichols and Susannah Hickox. She married Rev. James Scovill (1732-1808) in 1762. They had at least four children: James Scovill (1764-1825), Samuel Scovill (1773-1856), Edward George Scovill (1781-1840), and Hannah Scovill Micheau (d. 1846). Amy died on 25 June 1832 in Kingston, New Brunswick, Canada.
