BiographyEdward Anthony opened a daguerrean parlor in New York in 1842. His business continued to expand and in 1862 the firm name became E. & H. T. Anthony. They published photographs and manufactured and sold cameras, photograph albums, gallery furnishings and backdrops. In 1902 the firm merged with the Scovill and Adams Company.
