BiographyPhilip Malcom Beattie was born on 4 March 1904 in Guilford, Connecticut. He was the son of Peter Beattie (1872-1940) and Margaret Beattie (1874-1963). He had seven siblings: Robert, Mildred, Harold, Eleanor, Walter, Dorothy, and Frederick. He died on 24 February 1990 in Los Angeles, California.
