Claudine Siegel

BiographyClaudine Siegel was an attorney who was born in Antwerp, Belgium, on May 23, 1935, to Abraham and Irene Friedman. She and her family fled Belgium the day the German army arrived, escaping the Holocaust, and they eventually resettled in Manhattan. Siegel became a lawyer and dedicated her career to representing indigent clients. She served as the statewide head of the Family Unit for Connecticut Legal Services. She died on February 13, 2020, in Longboat Key, Florida.
