DeBarron Studios
American, 1925 - 1940
BiographyDeBarron Studios specialized in theatrical and glamour photography in New York City. Originally known as Paul's Studio, owned by Paul Barron and A. J. Zuckerman, the studio was renamed in 1927 to DeBarron Studios. In 1936, A. J. Zuckerman sold the business to Empire Studios, though the brand name remained intact until November 1940 when the studio was again resold. Photographer Paul Barron was not associated with the studio after it was sold.
