BiographyJohn C. Nyser was born in Germany in 1862. By 1893, he was living in Hartford, Connecticut and running a photography studio at 2 Ford Street. During its later years, the business was known as Nyser Studios. After Nyser himself left the business about 1926, it continued for a few years under the management of Matthew H. Press.
