Major General Halstead Dorey

BiographyHalstead Dorey was born 7 February 1874 to William Dorey and Georgiana Banks in St. Louis, Missouri.
He was an 1897 graduate of West Point and had a life-long career in the military. Dorey served in several fronts during the early 20th century, including Cuba, the Philippines, and Europe. He earned multiple medals for his service duirng WWI. Dorey became a Major General in 1933 and retired from the military in 1936.
Halstead Dorey married Theodora Cheney on 20 September 1905. They had two daughters, Georgiana and Ednah.
He passed away on 19 June 1946.
