BiographyJames "Jimmy" F. Hatcher, Jr. (1922-1993) was a director and producer at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He had been associated with the University of Alabama's Town and Gown Theater since its founding in 1950 and retired in 1991. He directed 36 Miss America pageants.
