BiographyDorothy Cheney Goodwin (2 Sept. 1914 - 10 June 2007) was the daughter of Charles A. Goodwin and Ruth Cheney Goodwin.
She served in the Connecticut General Assembly as state representative for the 54th District, beginning in 1974. She served five consecutive terms, spending six years as House chairwoman of the education committee, before retiring in 1985.
