BiographyHenry Wellington Burrill (22 Sept. 1846 - 8 August 1938) was born in Bangor, Maine. He served in the Civil War as a private in the Maine Company K, Twenty-Sixth Regiment Infantry from 1862-1863. He enlisted at the age of 18, and mustered into service on 11 October 1862. He married Elizabeth R. Burrill. Henry W. Burrill caught a cold at the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, leading to his death a month and half later after returning from the anniversary.
