BiographyElof Nels Ringius was born in Sweden, possibly about 1871. He was living in Hartford, Connecticut by 1899 and became a naturalized United States citizen in 1908. He was still living in Hartford in 1921. He is probably the same Elof N. Ringius who was living in Chicago, Illinois in the 1930s and 1940s and who died there on 13 July 1950.
