Description(.5) U. S. Army enlisted man’s cotton khaki long-sleeved shirt, likely WWII era, with chevron patches on both shoulders indicating the rank of a Corporal and a United States Army Europe shoulder patch on Proper Left shoulder. The patch is a dark blue Norman shield with a curved top, a double-handed flaming sword, hilt golden yellow, white blade, red flames, all below an arched rainbow of five colors: red, golden orange, yellow, green, and blue in descending order. The shirt has a 7-button front closure, 2-button closures at each wrist cuff, and 1 button on each shoulder strap. There are two pockets with button closures on the front of the chest. All buttons are plastic. Light staining and discoloration across garment. Worn by Mitchell Arron during the Korean War.
