Many of the photos have captions with the subjects, locations, and dates. A number are of the Palmer family and friends engaging in summer activities at the family's lake house in Winsted. Some of the later photos were taken at Elmira College and Vassar College. There are also snapshots, postcards, and commercially-available photos of Yosemite National Park from an undated vacation.
