DescriptionWhite, cotton bodice with left front closure, 3/4 sleeves, rounded neckline, bobbin lace, and tucks. Rounded neckline has large machine-made bobbin lace yoke edged with thin bobbin lace. Bell shaped sleeves are edged with same thin bobbin lace. Sleeves and bodice front have large flowers cut out of lace, similar to that of the yoke, and appliqued onto the cotton fabric. Several vertical tucks come from the yoke down to the center front of the bodice. Vertical tucks also come down from the yoke back and meet at the center back of the bodice. Vertical tucks come down the sleeves from the shoulders and end above the sleeve edge. There is no longer evidence of the type of fastening used to close the bodice.
