Description(.3) U. S. Army enlisted man’s c. 1943 Special Coat Style Olive Drab Flannel Shirt manufactured by Haggar Clothing with a United States Army Europe shoulder patch on proper left shoulder. The patch is a dark blue Norman shield with a curved top, a double-handed flaming sword, hilt golden yellow, white blade, red flames, all below an arched rainbow of five colors: red, golden orange, yellow, green, and blue in descending order. The shirt has a 7-button front closure, 2-button closures at each wrist cuff, and 2 buttons under the collar. There are two pockets with button closures on the front of the chest. All buttons are olive drab plastic. Worn by Mitchell Arron during the Korean War.
(.4) U. S. Army enlisted man’s c. 1943 Special Coat Style Olive Drab Flannel Shirt. The shirt has a 7-button front closure, 2-button closures at each wrist cuff, and 2 buttons under the collar. There are two pockets with button closures on the front of the chest. All buttons are olive drab plastic. Pest damage in the form of small holes visible on front of garment.
