DescriptionWoman's dress of white cotton printed with a grid pattern in gray, overlaid with teardrops outlined in black dots. The dress consists of a bodice (.a) and skirt (.b).

The bodice has a rounded, turn-down collar and center front opening which fastens with nine mother of pearl buttons. The long sleeves are gathered at the shoulder and gathered across the back of the wrist into a 3 3/4-inch-wide cuff. The back of the bodice has three two-inch-wide box pleats stitched from the neckline to the waist, where the fullness is released. The front of the bodice has no fitting.

The skirt is smooth across the front and sides, and closely gathered across the back. The waistband is one inch wide, and closes with a button and buttonhole at center back. There is an in-seam pocket on the proper right side. The hem is seven inches deep.
