DescriptionMost of the photographs contained in this photo album are of outdoor outings and activities. Amy Tatro and Meta Heinze Tatro are in some of the photographs and are seen wearing dresses, aprons, and jackets. Amy often has her hair in a bun or a braid and is seen holding flowers and a bucket. Some of the photographs have unknown men, women and children holding fishing poles and fish, standing on a wagon, sitting in a canoe or on a bridge, tending to an outdoor fire, sitting in front of an automobile, sitting near camping supplies, standing in the water, and carrying buckets.

NotesMany of the photos are of Amy Tatro and her parents, Alexander and Meta. Alexander Tatro was born in Canada in 1868 and immigrated to the United States in 1870. Meta Heinze was born in Sweden in 1871and moved to the United States in 1880. She came with her sister and they worked as maids for wealthy families around Hartford such as the Ponds. She married Alexander in 1900 and her daughter Amy was born in 1906. (1910 Federal Census, Hartford Courant: Sept. 12, 2004)
