DescriptionWomen's blue felt hat in an approximate beret shape, called a "halo" hat for its appearance on the head. The felt of the hat is top stitched in triangular spirals. The opening is offset so that the hat is deeper at the front than in the back, which is shaped by a dart. Stitches inside the hat caused the sides of the hat to dimple slightly. The opening is edged with blue grosgrain ribbon, on which is stitched a woven tape label: "G. FOX & CO. / HARTFORD CONNECTICUT."
