DescriptionTwo men wearing aprons over shirts and pants are standing on opposite sides of a long table or workbench, on which a long row of machines guns are arranged side by side. They appear to be working on the same gun. The man on the right wears eyeglasses and appears to be holding a screwdriver in his right hand. At the right, a third man wheels a flatbed truck or dolley with three machine guns on it toward the viewer. Two additional men, one blurred from movement, are in the background. Electric lights with shades hang from the wooden ceiling. A bucket hangs at the right. Some of the large factory windows at the left are open. A sign overhead reads, "NO ADMITTANCE / RESTRICTED AREA / ORDNANCE DEPT. U.S. ARMY / Colt's Pat. Fire Arms Mfg. Co." The numbers "4 S 10" appear to be stenciled on the beam at the right.
