DescriptionMiniature porcelain washbowl with overglaze pink and red enamel, and gilding. The washbowl has a flat rim, curved sides, and a round foot. The interior sides are painted with pink enamel, with the exception of the bottom and a round area at one side. The round area is outlined with red leaves on a vine. There is a vine of red leaves to the left and right, as well. Gilded flowers with red centers are painted inside the round area. Two vines with red leaves are hand-painted on the opposite interior side of the bowl. A line of gilding is present at the edge of the rim. A line of gilding also circles the interior bottom of the washbowl, which is plain white. There are minor imperfections in the porcelain, especially on the underside of the washbowl.
