DescriptionHeavy, pressed colorless lead glass cream pitcher with an undulating rim and extended spout, a barrel-shaped, nine-sided body, a short stem, and a round foot. An elongated, ear-shaped handle is applied opposite the spout. The cream pitcher is pressed in what is known as the "cable with ring" raised pattern. This consists of a horizontal band of twisted rope just below the neck. Below this are nine vertical bands of twisted rope, evently spaced around the sides of the cream pitcher. Each vertical band has a ring surrounding the center. A second horizontal band of twisted rope circles the bottom of the foot. There is an impressed pattern of rays on the bottom of the cream pitcher. A small area of an unknown brown substance has adhered to the inside of the cream pitcher.
