DescriptionOval, earthenware cream pitcher with an all over silver luster decoration. The cream pitcher reflects the neoclassical styles popular in the first half of the nineteenth century. The ribbed sides swell from a narrow base to vertical bands at the neck. A molded handle has been applied opposite the wide spout. The silver luster has worn off protruding portions of the cream pitcher, specifically at the handle, rim, foot, and ribbed sides. The luster has also chipped off portions of the underside of the handle.
