DescriptionA small, open, Greek revival pavilion, with a pedimented roof supported on columns, is situated on the far side of a grassy field. This structure is probably a spring house, housing one of Saratoga's mineral springs. Several people stand within the pavilion. Behind the spring is a long rail fence, and behind the fence are the buildings of a small town. Many of the buildings appear to be houses, but the larger structures are probably hotels. A building at the left has a tower surmounted by a dome and weathervane. Young trees are at the edges of the field. Clouds are in the sky.
