DescriptionRound, curved earthenware plate with a serrated edge, marbelized surface, and a clear lead glaze. The marbelized surface was formed by placing two contrasting colors of slip in the plate, then sloshing the slip around to imitate marble. The lead glaze over the slip does not reach the rim. There are many scratches and significant crazing on the glazed surface of the plate, and two minor cracks that run from the rim toward the center.
