DescriptionTwo small, round mugs made of buff-colored earthenware with a blue-tinted glaze, a type of ceramic known as pearlware. The mugs have a small, pulled handle that was applied by hand (fingerprints are still visible in the earthenware where the handle meets the body of each mug). The mugs are decorated with a small vignette showing two children and an adult playing a game, titled "TRAP BAT & BALL". The adult, with his back to the viewer, holds a short, rectangular bat as a ball flies towards him. The two children are slightly to the left and are wearing short coats. Each mug has wear and small chips to the bottom of the foot.
