DescriptionWoman's red, long-sleeved, short jacket with a center front opening. The center front opening has rounded upper corners and is faced in self-fabric. This unusually constructed jacket has shoulder darts and dolman sleeves, the lower half of each is cut in a separate piece. This angular lower piece begins at the front of each sleeve, thirteen inches from the cuff at the underarm seam, and then angles toward the cuff and spirals around to 7 1/4 inches from the cuff at the underarm seam at the back. There is a center back seam and a back neck inset faced with red silk. The label is stitched to this facing. The edges are finished with hand overcasting.
