DescriptionMan's black wrestling shoe with criss-crossing white stripes on each side and green lettering on the heel. The sole and the interior are lime green. There are two small stripes of purple on the shoe: one in the front at the base of the laces; and one on the back above the heel.

Markings"asics" is printed across the heel of the shoe, and it is stamped on the sole twice, once on the ball of the foot and once at the heel.

The outside of the tongue is printed "SPLIT", but the rest of the lettering is worn and illegible.

A white fabric tag on the inside of the tongue is printed in black lettering. It reads, "JL70 / 9 1/2/ MADE IN TAIWAN / R. O. C."
NotesHistorical Note: Mike Kocsis of Philipsburg, New Jersey, was an athletic training major at Central Connecticut State University. As a member of the wrestling team, he made his third straight appearance in the NCAA Division I championships in 1993. He completed the year with a 20-5 record and also won his third conference title and the ECWA championships. (Hudson 7/27/2006)
