DescriptionThick leather, welted, square-toed work shoe with iron nails hammered into the sole and heel. The heel is the depth of one layer of leather, with closely placed rectangular-headed nails extending about half an inch from the bottom. The nails hammered into the sole have round heads. Tabs extend from the quarters and are punched twice on each side for lacing. The interior of the shoe has heel stiffener that attaches to the edge of the vamp.
