The schoolboy used as a shield deflected the aim of James Leroy Smith, 20, Washington, D.C. as police ended his forced taxi ride from Baltimore, 9/3. The taxi driver escaped from under gun point at Greenwich where Smith picked up his young shield. During the ride Smith said "he was going to shoot his wife in Connecticut."
