DescriptionA young boy and a young girl are seated on a grassy bank embracing. The girl wears a dress which appears to be open down the front, with a petticoat beneath it. The boy wears a tunic, a shirt, a belt, and pants. The girl appears to be weeping. An empty bird cage is at the left. A dead bird, apparently a dove, lies beside it. Trees and vines are in the background.
