DescriptionThree-quarter-length portrait of a young boy wearing a checked dress with a white collar and cuffs. He holds a small dog, probably a King Charles spaniel, in his arms. He stands in the interior of a room, with a chair rail on the wall behind him, and floral patterned draperies tied back with a cord at the right.
