DescriptionFull-length standing portrait of a young woman. She wears a dress with a V-shaped waistline and neckline with lace or eyelet trim. A sash with fringed ends is tied in a bow at her waist. Her jewelry includes matching bracelets on both wrists and a small heart, possibly a locket, which she wears on a thin chain around her neck. She wears a rose in her hair. A large bouquet of flowers is in a vase or urn on a wooden pedestal in the left background. Fringed drapery tied back with a cord is in the right background. Striped and patterned wallpaper is on the wall. A patterned carpet is on the floor.
