Description(a) Badge on original (b) cardstock information sheet. It is a press badge for the 1965 Connecticut Constitutional Convention issued to Frank Lorenzo of UPI.
(a) The badge has a brass identification bar at the top that reads, "CONNECTICUT / CONSTITUTIONAL / CONVENTION / 1965 / NEWS MEDIA," which is attached to a red ribbon. A round medallion at the bottom of the ribbon reads, "SEAL OF THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT."
(b) Printed in black on front of information card: "A convention badge is more / than a means of identifying the / wearer as a member of your / organization in convention. / After the business sessions / and entertainments are over it is / often the only tangible memento / of the meeting. / In years to come, it will recall / the pleasures of the convention / and the friendships made or / renewed at it. / You can specify Bastian Bros. / Co. badges with full confidence / that they are fairly priced, artisti- / cally designed and worthy of use / by your organization. / BASTIAN BROS.
