DescriptionView of Bushnell Park with Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch and the State Capitol building in the background. The sky is depicted in broad streaks of vivid blue, pink, and yellow, and the park in acidic tones of green outlined in black, with mother-of-pearl fragments in places.

This painting and the reverse painting on glass depicting Bulkeley Bridge (1998.82.2) were hung in the Veeder Root Building in Hartford.
