DescriptionFramed reverse painting on glass depicting the Bulkeley Bridge over the Connecticut River in Hartford, seen from a low aerial perspective. The sky is shown in broad bands of pastel blue, pink, and yellow, and the bridge is painted in acid greens and blacks, with the stones of the bridge in mother-of-pearl.

This painting and the reverse painting on glass depicting Bushnell Park and the Capitol building (1998.82.1) were hung in the Veeder Root Building in Hartford.
