DescriptionPortrait of Romanta Woodruff by Samuel Broadbent. Woodruff is seated in a rush-seated fancy chair. He is wearing a mustard-colored jacket, a patterned item below it with a high collar that extends beyond the collar of the jacket, a pleated white item, and a white bowtie. The sides of his brown hair are swept forward in feathers and he has sideburns; the top of his head is bald. He is holding a book upright in his hands; the word "Agriculture" is visible on its spine.
