BiographyRomanta Woodruff was born in Farmington, Connecticut, on September 29, 1787, to John and Lucy Winifred Welles Woodruff. On October 3, 1881, he married Hannah Robbins, his second wife, in Wethersfield. They had eight or nine children. He was a farmer in Avon. Woodruff died on May 26, 1837 in Avon.
