Description(a) Dress: Woman's evening dress of sheer, black silk crepe. The dress has a scooped neck and back and is sleeveless; it is above-knee length. It features a snake of clear glass beads and rhinestones draped around the shoulders and waist; the snake "hiss" is created by rhinestones worked in lines tipped with arrow points down the proper left side of the skirt. Green rhinestones are used for the snake eyes. A long scarf-like tab of the black silk hangs from the proper left shoulder; it was probably intended to wrap around the neck. Another tab hangs from the right hip, where it is gathered under the beading of the snake's body.

(b) Slip: Woman's evening slip of black silk satin. Pullover in style with a scooped neckline; the hem is edged with sheer black chiffon.
