NotesSubject Note: This event was presented by the Spirit of Quinnehtukqut, a group of intertribal native cultural leaders living in Connecticut including Luis Lee (Seneca) and Jules Strongbow (Oneida-Stockbridge-Munsee). They organized a series of intertribal powwows in the 1980s and 1990s in Haddam, Connecticut, that were notable for a wide array of programs and activities including colonial re-enactments and crafts, storytelling, and horse painting along with the usual powwow dance and drum competitions.

Cataloging Note: This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services MA-245929-OMS-20.
