DescriptionWhite, cotton tailored shirtwaist with center front closure, long sleeves, collar stand, embroidered fabric strips, and tucks. Shirtwaist made in the style of a man's tailored shirt. Shirtwaist front is decorated with vertical embroidered fabric strips with a white greek key design and blue dots. Cuff edges are decorated with same fabric strips. The shirtwaist front and back have small vertical tucks with one large vertical tuck on each shoulder closest to the sleeve. The collar stand has three button holes, two at the front and one at center back, indicating this shirtwaist was worn with a detachable collar. The cuffs have a button hole on either side to be fastened with a cuff link. The center front closes with five buttons hidden by a fabric flap.
