DescriptionWhite, cotton shirtwaist with center front closure, long sleeves, double collar, french cuffs, elastic at waist, crochet edging, openwork, and tucks. Double collar has a square top collar and a jabot like under collar. Both collars, along with the french (double) cuffs, have a crocheted edging with 3-D flowers and are outlined with rows of openwork. Center front closure has openwork on either side of the opening along with two rows where the threads have been pulled but the openwork was never finished. The shirtwaist front and back are each decorated with four sets of small vertical tucks. Center front closure has five crochet covered buttons but closes with hooks and eyes. Shirtwaist hem has small casing with thin elastic cording.
