DescriptionChild's dress of sheer, white cotton with a woven double rib. The dress has a round yoke and high, round neckline edged with machine-made bobbin-type lace. The fabric of the ruffle is decoratively hem-stitched, and it is open at center front as well as center back. The dress is gathered into a straight seam under the yoke, which is hidden by the ruffle. The long, full sleeves are gathered into the armscye and into a band at the wrist. A 2 1/4-inch-wide ruffle of self-fabric edged with lace is stitched around the wrist band. The center back opening extends 8 1/2 inches; there is no visible means of closure.
