DescriptionWoman's jacket, made of blue wool, with narrow, yellow soutache braid stitched in a looped design as a border around the neckline, down the center front opening, and around the bottom edge. One edge of the braid is stitched with yellow thread, while the opposite edge is stitched with dark blue thread, adding to the decorative effect. The bottom of the jacket is edged with twisted blue silk fringe. The bell sleeves are decorated in the same manner around their opening edges. The back of the jacket is vented on the sides and at the center back, with the soutache and fringe continuing up the vents. The two center back panels extend 2 3/4 inches longer than the sides and front. The jacket is unlined.
