DescriptionWoman's blouse of sheer, white cotton, with a high, round neckline edged with 3/4-inch-wide scalloped whitework embroidery. This neckline edging is bordered with a 7/8-inch-wide band of floral whitework embroidery. The center front opening of the blouse fastens with seven small, thread-covered buttons. The blouse fabric is gathered into the 1 1/2-inch-wide waistband of heavier white cotton fabric. The waistband fastens with two hooks and eyes. The shoulderline is dropped and the armscye is piped. The long, two-piece sleeves are curved at the elbow and trimmed around the wrist with the whitework embroidery as the neckline is trimmed. The top of the sleeve has a 4 1/2-inch-wide (measured at the shoulder), gathered puff stitched over the main sleeve. The seam of the puff is covered with a ruffled strip of self-fabric.
