DescriptionInfant's jacket of cream-colored wool flannel, with a center front opening and turn-down collar. All edges of the jacket are scalloped and covered with buttonhole stitching in cream-colored silk thread. A dot is embroidered within each scallop. The body of the jacket is flared; the center front opening edges are curved at the bottom. The shoulders are sloped, and the sleeves are cut like a fashionable coat sleeve, with an upper and lower seam and a slight curve, though the wrist opening is broader than an adult coat sleeve.
