DescriptionBlack suede boots with a front lacing. The toe is narrow and pointed and the Louis heel is 2 1/2 inches high. A thin disk of a white metal (appears to be aluminum) is inserted above the top piece of the heel, setting off the black suede. A black cotton shoe lace with metal tips painted black is laced through 19 pairs of eyelets. The top edge of each boot is lined with black grosgrain silk, and the rest of the upper is lined with white twill-woven cotton. The soles are leather and continuous over the front of the heel; the boots are shaped for right and left feet. The top piece is pegged and screwed to the heel.
